About us
For more than one hundred years now, NEUPERT has been at the forefront of the construction of historical keyboard instruments. Based on historical knowledge, knowledge of physical/acoustic connections, the wealth of experience of a long tradition of craftsmanship, and the models of NEUPERT's Collection, instruments were created over four generations, which combined the retention of historical building-principles and sound-images with modern technical precision and reliability.
The J. C. NEUPERT workshop manufactures harpsichords, spinets, virginals, clavichords, fortepianos and square pianos. Whether you choose an instrument directly from our catalogue or one which will be created to realise your particular requirements, a NEUPERT instrument includes the experience of about 20.000 historical keyboard instruments having been manufactured up till now. It will be created from valuable, selected materials by qualified experts working together in the old craft tradition, whose work is well-known in all music centres around the globe due to their sound-quality and absolute reliability.
