Aimed at players with some piano experience, volume 2 dives into harmony and improvisation, encouraging learners to explore pentatonic scales, modes, arpeggios and broken chords as a way to develop improvisation skills. Other important skills such as accompanying and interpreting lead sheets are also explained, giving learners a good grasp of the basic tools needed to play and improvise in a jazz style.
